How do I share a post I see on my News Feed?

First, make sure that you’re logged into your personal Facebook account. From there, navigate to the post on your page that you want to share. Click the “share” button.



In the drop-down menu, select “in a group.” Then choose the group you’d like to share it with by typing the name of the group into the text field. Select from the options that appear. When you’re happy with your caption, click the “share” button at the bottom of the post to share a post from a Facebook page to a Facebook group.

To share a post you see on your News Feed:

• Click Share below a post.
• Select Share... in the dropdown menu.
• To choose where you want to share, click Share on your own timeline at the top of the popup menu, and select one of the following options:

1. Share on your own timeline
2. Share on a friend's timeline
3. Share in a group
4. Share in an event
5. Share on your Page you manage
6. Share in a private message

• If you are sharing on your own timeline and want to choose who can see your post, click and select one of the audience options.
• If you'd like, write a message.
• Click Post.

Keep in mind that you can't share posts to people who weren't part of the original audience (example: a post shared with “Friends” can’t be shared with “Public”).
